Sports TV Platform

This project is also part of the services of the Canadian IPTV company.

The project consists of upgrade and support of the integrated platform for implementing internet presence for collegiate and professional North American sports. The platform includes the following features:

• Internet publishing tools.
• Streaming video and audio.
• E-commerce.
• Ticketing and booking.
• Mobile interface support.
• Community.

The platform manages more than 200 web sites with millions of users. Architecturally the system has two tiers with light frontend written on special Java based scripting language and heavy Oracle RAC (Real Application Cluster) based backend with more than 1200 tables, 1600 triggers, and 1700 functions and stored procedures.
